I have loved Marilyn ever since I was a little girl, and the first movie I ever saw of hers was Niagara. I credit my Mom for introducing me to Marilyn, as she liked her when she was growing up. When I was 7, I was given a Marilyn doll for Christmas. When I got older, my Mom gave me her old Marilyn calendars and books, including the movie paperbacks. They are my treasures, and my favorites in my collection. Marilyn will always be in my heart. I can't wait to make new friends, and hope to reconnect with old friends, too as we share our love for the irreplaceable Marilyn. :-) I came here after the contest was over, so that is not what I am about. If I sent you a friend request, it's because I genuinely want to get to know you.

Long-time Jean Harlow collector and historian Darrell Rooney has been collaborating with noted author and photographer Mark A. Vieira (" The Making of Some Like it Hot" co-authored with Tony Curtis) to create a Jean Harlow tribute book. They would like the book to be published in the spring of 2011, in honor of Jean's centennial (March 3, 2011).
